9:00 AM - 1:00 PM    Sports Center Broadcasting Camp - Sports Center Broadcasting Camp Session 3
Students will learn how to research, write, and produce sports stories in Marist Broadcasting’s television studio and control room. Topics will include college and professional game results, player news, and team developments. Participants will create a sports news show, serving in roles such as producers, anchors, reporters, audio operators, technical operators, camera operators and more. The camp team will come up with their show name, create graphics, and edit video, culminating all the elements needed to produce a sports news cast by the end of the week. This camp is instructed by Mr. Scott Tufts, Marist Media & Broadcast Journalism Teacher and Marist Broadcasting Club Moderator.

Sports camp helps young athletes entering 1st-8th grade develop their athletic potential in a wide variety of sports. Led by Coach Bobby Perez, the staff consists of college and high school athletes. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in flag football, basketball, softball, golf, pickleball, volleyball, soccer, indoor hockey, lacrosse, and track & field. Campers will compete in teams throughout the week, culminating in the Sports Camp Olympics Tournament on the final day of camp. All equipment is provided.

Marist Summer Science Camp, instructed by Marist Science teachers Ms. Sarah Conn and Mr. Peter Spalitto, is designed for rising 6th-7th grade girls who enjoy learning more about science in everyday life, who enjoy learning by doing, and who have an interest in learning the why behind certain science experiments and scientific concepts. It will also give those students who may be attending Marist in the fall, or who have an interest in attending Marist in the future, to get to know how Marist Science works and a taste of some of the subjects we cover.
 
2:00 PM - 5:00 PM    After-Camp Care Daily Rate - After Care Camp Daily Rate
After-Camp Care is available for boys and girls attending any Marist Summer Camps session Monday-Thursday. Each After-Camp session will start at the end of each camp session until 5 p.m. Campers will be escorted from their camp and will participate in various activities.

This academic camp is designed to help students develop excellent study habits based on brain science, and learn how to go beyond rote memorization and basic answers to higher level thinking required in Marist science classes. This camp is not a bunch of experiments, it’s for serious students who want to excel.
