Students learn how to research, write, and produce sports stories at Marist Broadcasting’s television studio and control room. Campers will create a sports news show and be trained to serve in roles such as producers, anchors, reporters, audio operators, technical directors, camera operators, and more. Camp teams will create their own show name, produce graphics for the program, and edit video stories, gathering all the elements needed to produce a sports newscast by the end of the week. This camp is instructed by Mr. Scott Tufts, Marist Media & Broadcast Journalism Teacher and Marist Broadcasting Club Moderator.
